The statement part of this particular piece comes in the cropped padded detailing across the chest, which is made from the same high-quality fabric as the Chique Sport coats and bodywarmers. This padded section is rendered in black, contrasting with the berry mink and fuchsia colour options and blending in beautifully with the full black garment. It extends from just below the high neckline of the top, sloping down in front of the shoulders towards the midriff area.
A black leather zip, branded with the Chique Sport name, also runs down the centre of the top, ending about midway down the padded section.
